Purpose of Consultation
This initial consultation provides general information and guidance on your immigration matter. During the session, Amrita Dhillon, RCIC-IRB (R707589) will assess your situation, discuss available options, and provide initial recommendations based on the information you provide. This consultation does not constitute legal advice. Any decisions or actions taken based on this consultation are solely your responsibility.
Consultant’s Responsibilities
Provide a professional consultation in compliance with the guidelines and regulations of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).
Offer recommendations on potential immigration pathways based on information available at the time of consultation. Keep all information provided strictly confidential, used solely for the purpose of the consultation, unless required by law or with your explicit consent.
Client’s Responsibilities
Provide accurate and complete information regarding your personal circumstances, including educational background, work experience, and any previous immigration applications or proceedings. Understand that information provided during the consultation is preliminary and may not encompass all details and complexities of your case.
Accept full responsibility for any decisions or actions taken based on this consultation.
Duration and Delivery
The initial consultation lasts approximately 30 minutes. Additional time may be required depending on case complexity. Consultations are conducted by phone, Zoom video, or in-person at our Brampton office, as selected at the time of booking.
Consultation Fees
The consultation fee is payable in full prior to the scheduled session and is non-refundable once completed. If you retain NNC Immigration within 30 days of your consultation, the consultation fee will be credited toward your representation fee. Payment is accepted by credit card or electronic transfer.
Limitations
This consultation is limited to an initial session only. It does not include preparation of any application or representation before any immigration authority. It does not create a consultant-client relationship beyond the initial session unless agreed upon in a separate retainer agreement.
Governing Law and Regulatory Compliance
Amrita Dhillon is a member in good standing of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), licence R707589, and is bound by its By-laws, Code of Professional Ethics, and Regulations. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
